**BIG NEWS FOR PLANTERSVILLE! **
The City of Plantersville is proud to announce that we have officially accepted a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the Texas General Land Office. I was honored as your mayor to accept this award today on behalf of the City of Plantersville and residents in a formal presentation with Commissioner Dr. Dawn Buckingham and General Land Office Staff in College Station.
This funding will support important infrastructure improvements benefiting our community — including roads, drainage, and long-term development planning. This $500,000 investment represents progress, partnership, and continued responsible growth for our community.
Thank you to the Board of Aldermen (past and present); our grant partners, and the Texas General Land Office for helping make this possible.
Building for today. Planning for tomorrow.
— Mayor Kim Allphin & Board of Aldermen: Marilyn Bettes, Brett Bratcher, John Greenwood, Sandra Kuta and Dedrick Mallard Sr.
